Apple picking

Apple picking in the old orchard.

Mabellae Farm in the Southern Highlands is a place of regeneration and connection.

Our farm sits in the heart of the Southern Highlands on 17 acres of rich basalt soil that rises on a hilltop. It is a place of breathtaking beauty, charm and character and we consider it a privilege to be farming this land, in this place, on the land of the Gundungurra people.

Overwhelmed by the busyness of our previous lifestyle, we decided to move to the beautiful Southern Highlands. Fulfilling our vision to turn our little farm into our haven.

  • we have created a riparian corridor surrounding our dams and waterways

  • we have enhanced our dams, creating clean, biodiverse ecosystems

  • we have fenced our property into smaller paddocks so that we can use cell grazing techniques

  • we have regenerated our paddocks, gardens and the old orchard we inherited.

  • we have also created our Kitchen Gardens and orchards on the hilltop using regenerative gardening practices

In doing so, we have created a new, more connected way of life for our family. I have created a business on our farm that connects the beautiful produce that we grow to you.

Restoring and maintaining the delicate balance of our soils is our priority. Managing our soil fertility is vital, as soil that is more nutrient-dense produces food that is more nutrient-dense, and that is also why I use them in our product range, ensuring you get the most nourishing products for your family.

We follow regenerative and biodynamic farming principles meaning: All biodynamic farms are organic, but we go a step further, emphasising biodiversity, crop rotation, greenhouse management, animal welfare, and soil fertility management.

We have achieved a lot, but there is still so much to do, learn and teach.

We want you to feel safe knowing that our products are the healthiest choice you can make for you and your family.
